These are images of cars on the road in Havana, Cuba. Since the USA imposed a trade embargo in response to the Revolution of 1959, Cubans have not been allowed to import American cars or parts. The fact that these cars are still in use (most of them anyway!) is a testament to the ingenuity and resourcefulness of talented mechanics!

1955 Ford Fairlane Convertible This automobile was a blast to ride in, out on the open roads east of Havana.
1949 Dodge I don’t think that the fog lamps are OEM….
1958 Ford Fairlane Skyliner This is a great example of a classic automobile!
1957 Chrysler DeSoto The car that made “fins” famous!
1949 or 1950 Chevrolet DeLuxe Has a couple of interesting modifications…. and needs a bit of work.
1955 Pink Pontiac Chieftain Starchief! This car is in excellent condition
Gleaming…. These beautiful convertibles are lined up waiting for tourists to hire them for a spin around the city.
